As San Francisco locals, we’re no strangers to food trucks – or to pampering our pups. So when we came up with the idea for the world’s first-ever food truck for dogs, everything just clicked. We couldn’t wait to hit the road and share it with our fans (both human and canine) and we were thrilled with the response. Read on to see what the media had to say about the Milo’s Kitchen Treat Truck.

San Francisco Business Times – Dog ‘Treat Truck’ is Latest Wag of the Tail on S.F. Food Truck Trend –

“The food truck trend has been strong in San Francisco for a while now, its popularity carrying it into surrounding areas. The proliferation of trucks has prompted brick-and-mortar restaurateurs to voice their concerns. But something the city has yet to see in the food truck realm will launch tomorrow: food trucks geared toward San Francisco’s canine crowd.”

“Milo’s Kitchen, a division of San Francisco-based Big Heart Pet Brands (formerly Del Monte Foods’ Pet Products), is launching a nationwide dog food truck tour beginning Friday in San Francisco. The treat truck will be giving out free samples of Milo’s Kitchen doggie treats such as chicken meatballs, burger bites and chicken jerky strips. The truck, which will be stationed at the Marina Green Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., will also offer a fenced-off “Lapdog Lounge” and photo booth for doggie portraits.”

The Telegraph – San Francisco: Where Dogs Have Their Day –

“Nowhere in the world do they spoil their pets quite like San Francisco. The city, which is famously home to more dogs than children, has earned the nickname “Doggie Cannes” for its pooch pampering. They keep appointments with their masseurs, check into their own hotels when their owners are away and go for readings with their astrologers. So it was an obvious next step when dog food company Milo’s Kitchen started up the city’s first gourmet food truck for canines.”
